Windows

External Beaded Window

PVCu windows have a major security weakness.

In Ireland the vast majority of windows more than 3 years old have external glazing beads holding the glass in place.

these can be easily and quietly removed by a burglar who then removes the gazed unit and climbs through the opening.

i

Window Locks

Most windows have inherent security weakness at the opening points.

Unless your windows were specifically designed to a high security standard, forcing a window with a pry bar is not a very difficult task.

This is the most common method of forced intrusion into your home at present.

Window Restrictors

The point of having a window opening is being able to use it safely when required.

Although restrictors are commonplace in public and commercial buildings they have not being properly utilised in the domestic market.

Restrictors can limit the chance of an intruder entering and a child or elderly person climbing through or falling out.
